Today in college, my team and I finally presented our play called 'Judgment'. Let's rewind to the very beginning shall we...
We decided to do some last minute rehearsal before the English classes starts. So, as planned, we will meet up at the usual practice room. Chong Li arrived first. He was really early like an hour early. The practice was at 9 a.m. and he was there at 8 a.m.. At that time, I was using my mum's laptop at home. And my phone was upstairs when he messaged me, twice. So, I'm so sorry Chong Li!
I was there on time. I met up with Yumin who was sitting with Josephine on the bench at the old building. Then, I called Ivan, but no answer. Called Chong Li, and he was with the big group which was practicing on the first floor in the old building. Ivan then came about 10 minutes after me.
Practice started half an hour late. Our narrator came. Lingesh was recruited last week because he was missing in action for some time. Since he made his surprise appearance last week, and does not know anything about the small sketch that we have to present on the last week of the English program, so, we decided to make him the narrator. And he came! ^^
(Ivan told me that Lingesh came on Friday. He was waiting for us at the concourse area while we were practicing-slash-waiting for him in one of the rooms above him.)
So, first we practiced in the usual room. Then, we sent Ivan on an expedition to look for the lecturer for the first class to tell her that we will be absent due to practice. The wait didn't take that long as Ivan arrived 10 minute later with good news. The lecture hall that we were supposed to be in was empty and was free to use. Yeay for us! ^^
So, we had three practices before the second English class started. Since our first English lecturer was there in the lecture hall, she gave us some pointers on what we should do and what we should not do.
The first group to go was the big group. They did a play about a guy, Mr. Nigel, who stole a book full of artworks that belonged to a friend named Pablo Picasso, and wanted to return it to Picasso due to guilt. . The detective played by Daniel and the assistant, played by Su Wern conducted the search to return the book to the rightful owner. And they stumble upon a very nice Noodle Shop. At the noodle shop, the cook was awesome! And the service was fast too! Wow~ O_O
After 5 bowls of noodles and an interview regarding their search, they continued their search for Picasso and ended up in front an abandon house. Picasso used to lived there 5 years ago said the neighbours who was disturbed by the noise that the detective and his assistant made.(They were throwing rocks at the house) Then, one of the neighbours handed the detective a slip with an address on it. The address lead them to a house that belongs to Picasso's sister.
Picasso's sister was sitting in the living room with her husband, watching a romantic movie,(so as the Narrator said) when they were disturbed by a sudden calling coming from the front gate. Trying to ignore it but eventually gave in, Picasso's sister opened the front door and told them off that she doesn't want to buy anything. She assumed that the detective and the assistant were selling something so she told them to move on to the next house.
The assistant eventually told Picasso's sister that they were looking for Picasso because they wanted to return something that belonged to him. The detective and his assistant told Picasso's sister that Mr. Nigel wanted to return the book that he stole years ago. Picasso's sister was fuming in anger. After what Mr. Nigel did to her brother, she was mad. She was mad that he stole something that was precious to her brother and also stated that everything inside the book was drawn since her brother started drawing. In the end, she told the detective to give back the book to Mr. Nigel as Picasso passed away 5 years ago and there was a message written for Mr. Nigel on the last page of the book.
So, back at the agency, the detective was relaxing and was bossing his assistant around when Mr. Nigel came. They sat down, and the detective told him everything from the best noodle shop in the world to the point where they met up with Picasso's sister. The detective had a hard time to explain to Mr. Nigel that his friend was long gone. Before everything ended, Mr. Nigel opened the book and read the message. -Cliff Hanger-

Didn't quite catch the answer but it was something like this... "I stole this book from someone else."

The story is called Judgment and the setting was at the Studio where A.I. contestants used for practice. Simon Cowell played by Ivan (Homer Simpson), Simon Fuller played by Chong Li (Alec Su), Randy Jackson played by Zhen Yao (David Beckham) and Ryan Seacrest played by Yumin (Phua Chu Kang) were gathering in one of the rooms in the studio, discussing about something about movie production. Then, Ryan left to answer nature's call. (Narrated by Lingesh)
Suddenly a scream of horror came from the hallway and everyone in the room ran towards the direction of the scream. It was David Archuleta played by me (David Archuleta) who found a dead body on the floor. It was Paula. Cowell was holding the lifeless body hopelessly looking for a sign of life. Randy and Fuller questioned David who was trembling in fright. Then, Ryan came to the scene oblivious on what was going on. He couldn't believe his eyes, Paula was gone.
Knowing that nothing can be done, Fuller took out his phone and call for help. Hoping for an answer but the line was dead. There was no coverage in the building and David started to panic. Then, Ryan suggested that they should look for help or find a way out but Cowell didn't want to leave Paula behind. So, Ryan gave Cowell two options. Then, after a short pause, Cowell decided to look for help.
From doors to doors, and every single time the held their phone by their ears, there was neither coverage nor a way out. Fuller then accused David of being involved in Paula's death and David defended himself as he wouldn't do anything like that. Cowell then said that they were being set up. But Fuller and Randy denied it. Cowell insisted on what he said and added that there was no explanation to why the doors were locked or why there's no coverage in the building. He also stated that there was a killer in the building who wanted one of them or all of them dead. Still, Fuller denied it. Before anything happened, Ryan stepped between the two men and reminded them that they were suppose to look for help instead of biting each other heads off. So, Randy suggested that they should split up and check every door again and try to call out again too.
The group was divided into two, Fuller and Cowell was in one group, while Randy, Ryan and David were in another. Opening and closing the doors like before, there was nothing to be found. While they were resting in one of the rooms, Fuller out of the blue accused Cowell of killing Paula. Cowell stood his ground by saying he couldn't such a thing but then Fuller smack another attack on Cowell by saying that he saw the two of them were fighting about a third party. Cowell, who was shocked, was taken aback by Fuller's words. All of a sudden, Cowell got a hold on Fuller's collar and accused him of killing his lover. Everything was out of hand as Cowell was enraged with anger.
In another room, Randy and Ryan ended their search with the same results as before, locked doors and silent lines. Then, David came in and shook his head. David then pulled a chair next to Ryan and sat. As the practice ended earlier that day, Ryan was surprised that David was still in the studios. David told Ryan that he wanted to practice longer so he stayed back and he was in the instrument room practicing. Randy wondered why was Paula her as she was supposed to be in New York to run an errand. Ryan then said that maybe she wanted to meet up with Cowell. David was caught by surprised to what Ryan said as he thought that Cowell and Paula were only friends and never together. A short silence invaded them when Randy said that Fuller could be the killer as he had a hunch when Fuller accused David of killing Paula. But David brushed it off by saying that Fuller was in shock. Ryan then made a statement that Cowell could be the killer. Randy was about to say his point when a sound of a broken glass caught their attention. It came from one of the other rooms and so they quickly went and search for it. Soon, they found themselves in a room where Cowell and Fuller were in, and Cowell was strangling Fuller.
Before anything went too far, Randy, Ryan and David tried to stop the whole thing. Simon let go of Fullers neck and Fuller took a few step backwards away from Cowell. The atmosphere in the room was intense and they were glaring at each other. Both won't stop accusing one another when suddenly, David stepped in between the grown up men and told them to SHUT UP!!! Everyone was in shock as they never seen David angry before. With a trembling voice, David told them off that nothing can be done about Paula and hurting each other won't solve anything either. And so, David left to clear his head.
Sitting in the instruments room, David sighed a few times, trying to clear his mind when a knock on the door disturbed his thoughts. He didn't bother to look up to see who it was at the door when the door opened. It was Ryan who came in first followed by the others. Knowing that they were acting more like children instead of grown up men, they apologised for the misbehaviour. Then, all of a sudden, Fuller gave a bottle of water to David, insisting that he was tried and he should have a drink. But David pushed away the offer but Fuller kept on insisting on it. Not wanting to cause any more trouble, David gradually took the bottle of water and drank it. Somehow, Fuller was smiling for no reason. What was going on?

Answers...
- No one was the killer. Paula was wearing high heels and was walking in a fast pace when she accidentally stepped on a bottle on the floor and slipped and fell. So, she hit her head hard on the floor.
- Nothing. XD
